Ukraine and Lithuania plans to develop economic relations

Lithuanian Minister of Transport Marius Skuodis and Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov  on 7th of July met in Klaipeda to discuss cooperation between the parties in the field of transport and possible new projects.

During the meeting the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine was also presented with the transport of semi-trailers by rail – a new project initiated by Lithuania, which combines railways and ports on the Baltic and Black Sea route, perfectly responds to the European Green Deal.

Lithuania invites interested Ukrainian business to start a pilot project on this route as early as September of this year.
