Ukrainian partners‘ visit to Vilnius – meeting with LTG Tech and trip to Vaidotai railway station

Representatives of Ukraine’s largest private railway company Lemtrans, visited Vilnius on January 25-26 at the invitation of LTG Cargo Ukraine. CEO of Lemtrans Vladimir Mezencev and his colleagues visited Vaidotai railway station, where they got acquainted with the tasks of loco tractors, discussed the aspects of technical maintenance and productivity. Later, the Lemtrans delegation went to LTG Tech, where they got acquainted with the modernization projects of shunting locomotives and the possibilities of capital repair of locomotives.

On January 26, Lemtrans delegation also met with Egidijus Lazauskas, Interim CEO of Lietuvos Geležinkeliai and other leaders of LTG Group divisions. During the meeting, the topics of wagon production and rental, as well as the issues of cooperation using loco tractors in the Lemtrans wagon production base, were discussed.

Lemtrans operates a fleet of 15,000 semi-trailers and transports about 60 million tons of cargo per year in Ukraine.
