Audrius Pukas becomes the CEO of LTG Cargo Ukraine

2026-04-16

Audrius Pukas, who has headed the Technological Asset Management Division at LTG Cargo for the past five years, has been appointed the CEO of the Ukrainian subsidiary of LTG Cargo, the freight transport company of the LTG Group.

“Audrius has experience in technological asset management, leadership and business development. These are skills and knowledge that will be particularly useful and will come into play in meeting new business needs and challenges – specifically, in launching operations in new markets. This is precisely the area where LTG Cargo Ukraine is currently focusing its efforts,” says Eglė Šimė, CEO of LTG Cargo.

The new CEO of LTG Cargo Ukraine says that one of the priorities of the planned activities is to strengthen synergies with LTG Cargo’s subsidiary in Poland. According to A. Pukas, the development of an integrated service offer with LTG Cargo Polska for foreign customers operating in Ukraine will enable both companies to act as a single and reliable partner in the region.

“My goal is to work with my team to create a sustainable and competitive business model for LTG Cargo Ukraine, which will allow us to grow in the Ukrainian market and purposefully increase the value of the company. We will strive to make efficient use of LTG Cargo Group’s technological assets by deploying them in Ukraine and adapting them to market needs. Another important priority is to strengthen synergies with LTG Cargo Polska by developing an integrated service offering for foreign customers operating in Ukraine, so that we can act as a united and reliable partner in the region,” says A. Pukas, the new CEO of LTG Cargo Ukraine.

A. Pukas has replaced SauliusStasiunas, who has been the CEO of LTG Cargo Ukraine since its establishment in 2020.

“LTG Cargo Ukraine was established in 2020 to strengthen the logistics and supply chains between Lithuania and Ukraine. The war that began in 2022 disrupted the implementation of LTG Cargo Ukraine’s strategy, but the company made a significant contribution to the development of new freight transport routes between the Baltic States and Ukraine through its freight forwarding services. In 2025, a decision was made to change the business model of LTG Cargo Ukraine and focus on rolling stock (specifically, wagons and locomotives) rental services.

LTG Cargo is an LTG Group company, which is continuing its active integration and expansion in the West. The company provides freight transport, intermodal transport, logistics and forwarding, freight loading, locomotive and wagon repair and wagon rental services in Lithuania and abroad. LTG Cargo has established and operates LTG Cargo Polska in Poland and LTG Cargo Ukraine in Ukraine. In its efforts to promote greener rail freight transport, the company has assembled a team of 1,500 logistics professionals.
