UTIKAD joined the Multimodal Memorandum

The Memorandum of cooperation on international multimodal route, which purpose is to transport semi-trailers by rail between Turkey, Ukraine, Lithuania and Scandinavia, was signed by the Association of International Forwarding and Logistics Service Providers (UTIKAD), non-governmental organization of Turkish transportation and logistics industry.

UTIKAD acts as the voice of the Turkish logistics industry, representing the industry and its members, therefore its support and commitment to the mentioned multimodal Memorandum is significant. It represents a united aim to increase the rail transportation of semi-trailers between Turkey, Central and Northern Europe, as well as to increase the competitiveness of such service.

The memorandum is also already signed by LTG Cargo Ukraine, JSC Ukrainian Railway Branch, Center of transport service Liski and the transport and logistics companies Ukrferry and FerryPlus.
